Your session works best when your body isn't rushing into it. A little preparation — water, rest, and the right clothes — helps you settle in faster and enjoy the afterglow longer. Here's how to prepare for each of our rituals, and how to care for yourself once you're done.
Before any session
Hydrate. Drink water through the day before your appointment, and bring water with you. Good hydration supports how light and clear you feel after drainage and sauna.
Eat lightly. A light meal a couple of hours before is ideal — not a heavy meal right before, and not an empty stomach either.
Arrive a few minutes early. Give yourself time to change, settle, and tell your therapist anything they should know — how you're feeling, where you hold tension, and what you'd like to focus on.
Tell us about your body. Let us know about any recent surgery, injury, illness, pregnancy, or medical treatment, so we can tailor the session to you. If you're ever unsure whether a treatment is right for you, check with your clinician first.
Lymphatic drainage: how to prepare
Wear comfortable, easy clothing. You'll be draped throughout, but loose clothing makes changing in and out simple.
Skip heavy lotions and oils on the areas being treated that day, so the work can flow without slipping over product.
Come as you are. No special preparation is needed — just water, rest, and an open mind. Many clients tell us they leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more at ease.
720 Wellness facials: how to prepare
Arrive with a clean face if you can. Come makeup-free where possible, so we can start straight away.
Ease off strong actives the day before. If you use strong exfoliants or retinol at home, give your skin a quiet day before your facial.
Tell us about your skin. Share anything about sensitivity, recent treatments, or products you're using, so your facial can be tailored to your skin that day.
Sauna: how to prepare
Bring a bathing suit or sauna wear. That’s what we suggest wearing in the sauna.
Please note: we do not have showers on site. We do provide towel service and cold towels for contrast therapy. Disposable undergarments can also be provided if needed.
Hydrate before and after. Drink water before your session and keep drinking afterwards — the sauna is a warming ritual, and water is part of it.
Listen to your body. Step out, cool down with a cold towel, and rest whenever you need to. The sauna is a ritual, not a test of endurance.
Post-treatment care: after lymphatic drainage, a facial, or the sauna
After your session, your body will continue to detox for 72 hours, so movement, clear fluids, and rest help enhance your results.
Keep drinking water through the rest of the day.
Move gently. A short walk, slow stretching, or deep breathing helps keep that feeling of flow going.
Rest when you can. Many clients feel deeply relaxed after a session. Give yourself a slower evening where possible, and a good night's sleep.
After a facial: keep your skincare simple for the rest of the day, let your skin breathe, and hold off on heavy makeup, strong exfoliants, and direct sun where you can.
After the sauna: cool down gradually, keep hydrating, and rest before heading straight into a busy schedule.
After drainage: notice how you feel over the next day or two — lighter, clearer, more energised are all common. Gentle movement, water, and sleep support that feeling.
The ritual, in short
Breath, movement, drainage, sleep. Prepare simply, arrive hydrated, and let the session do its work — then water, gentle movement, and rest carry it forward.
